Imagine a very smart and inquisitive 2D being. What if he somehow finds out that there are more dimensions than 2 ? That there is more beyond left/right/forward/backwards ? What if he wanted to communicate with the beings in higher dimensions above (or below) him ? "Up" and "down" would certainly have no meaning to him. Then how would he create a contact to the invisible world ? The world he is not meant to be a part of ? or is he ? After all, he IS a slice of that higher world. Somehow, by design, he is not equipped with the tools necessary to understand the dimensions beyond his existence. But can he do anything about it ? Is it possible for him to create some sort of ripple, some disturbance, some sign that he is there ?
I believe the answer is yes. The key is that he may not know what UP or DOWN is, but he knows it is perpendicular to every direction he knows. He cant "jump" up. But what if he can make something else do it ? Maybe he is already doing it ?
Just a thought that we, as the 3D beings, have the ability to excite sub-atomic particles in such a way that it makes them jump in a direction perpendicular to every direction we know. A direction perpendicular to the all 3 we know. Here is an idea:
"Two entangled particles are a cross section of a higher dimension loop."
